Marquee Theatrical Productions is an award winning, non-profit community theatre group based in Aurora, Ontario. The Goal of Marquee Theatrical Productions is to have an establishment in York Region whose purpose is to promote and create excellence in Dramatic and Musical Theatre. This goal also provides York Region with a wonderful attraction for the community and for tourists, in the form of rich dramatic entertainment.

Marquee offers performance opportunities for adults.  Our presentations are the highest quality of community theatre, which enriches the lives of those on stage, and those enjoying the performance.  We perform one-two shows within a subscription series hosted by our parent organization, which is cast with Adults, at the Newmarket Theatre, and at the City Playhouse in Vaughan.

Marquee Theatrical Productions offers Educational Classes in Theatre and Musical Theatre for children and youths.  These Educational Classes are workshops centered on Acting and Improvisation, Voice Instruction, Make-up Techniques, Dancing and Stage Movement.  Through the experience, the program participants learn Teamwork, Leadership, and Goal Setting.  Furthermore, participation in the programs create self-awareness and self-confidence within a group dynamic. 

Marquee participates in community "spirit" events, such as Christmas Parades, Street Festivals, and School Fairs.  Marquee is proud to be a member in good standing of the Aurora Chamber of Commence, Theatre Ontario and ACTCO.

Marquee strides to provide a safe, educational and fun environment for anyone in the community, who wishes to volunteer their time.  Marquee is proud to provide Community Service Hours to high school students wishing to complete their High School requirement.
